Bereavement Committee

The Bereavement Committee includes three phases of ministry — liturgical, practical, and supportive. In the liturgical phase, parishioners meet with the bereaved family and assist in planning the readings and music for the funeral. Volunteers sing at funeral masses, and members of the Rosary Altar Society provide and serve meals to the families on the day of the funeral. A week or two after the funeral, we will again call on the family and offer the continued support of the parish. Contact Carolyn Gardner at 236-0664.
